Carol EwelsCarol Ewels set up Always Consult following a career as a highly experienced Senior Business Leader. This included more than 20 years’ service with Barclays Bank PLC, working in a variety of management and leadership roles.

Her many skills include coaching and developing individuals to achieve their full potential. Carol is passionate about people development and takes professional pride in attaining the highest possible standards.

Carol is a qualified Assessor in the Advice and Guidance, Customer Service, Business Administration, Management and Coaching sectors.

She is the Head of the Qualification Centre and maintains overall responsibility for Assessment and Quality Assurance.

A highly experienced business advisor who is SFEDI accredited. She set up her own business after many years delivering external projects for Harper Adams University, Edgmond, Shropshire. Sheila specialises in social enterprise and business start ups, she has set up and is a Director of a
Social Enterprise Company. She is a trained NLP practioner and also a qualified assessor in Advice and Guidance.

Experienced in training and coaching, customer service enhancements, business performance improvements, target growth, and management skills.

Adrian has worked with children and young people for over 15 years.

His specialism is supporting those youngsters not in education, employment or training to overcome their barriers and realise their aspirations.

As an experienced practitioner, Manager and trainer for the Connexions Information, Advice and Guidance service, Adrian took his passion for supporting staff in the sector and set up his own company, Develop-meant Training Consultants, in October 2009.

Having also managed a Grade “A” awarded NVQ Centre, Adrian brings his knowledge and experience of Assessing and internal Quality Assurance to his Associate work with Always Consult.

Linda is a self-motivated and well qualified trainer and consultant, with over 25 years experience in the Sales, Service and Retail sectors.

She is an experienced practitioner in the areas of Health and Safety Supervisory/Management Training and Development, Retail Operations, Customer Service Management and Business Administration.

She is an accomplished Policy and Procedures Writer and Training Designer, with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of best practice initiatives.

In 1991, Linda was the first person in the UK to be awarded a National Training Award
for Individual Achievement (Yorkshire and Humberside Region).

Linda is a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning, a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and a Technician Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

A retired Senior Police Officer, Andy now has his own business supporting other people’s businesses and providing their online presence through social networks and website design.

He is a non-executive director of Severnside Housing Association in Shrewsbury, visiting lecturer for the University of Wolverhampton Business School and undertakes short contracts for the Justice Sector.

He is closely linked with professional bodies and recently obtained a Masters of Arts in Education and Professional Development.

Andy’s key skills are his ability to interact with people at all levels, to listen and acknowledge difference and to provide impartial and unbiased support to all he meets.

After an exciting career in Germany that has spanned pan European brand and marketing campaigns for EMI Music and TUI Travel, she launched the digital media enterprise scheme SP/ARK in Wolverhampton, which has been nationally award-nominated for its exceptional achievements in enterprise creation and business leadership support.

Andrew is a committed Learning and Development professional with a wealth of experience in all areas of people development. Setting up his own training business in 1989, he has worked as an independent L&D Consultant since then.

Andrew has designed and delivered a wide range of training programmes and workshops to develop the skills of leaders and managers, supporting the development of thousands of people across many sectors. Andrew has also acted as a trainer and an assessor/verifier on Leadership and Management Development Programmes accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Andrew’s style of training is very interactive and enthusiastic building on personal relationships, rapport and effective communication. He believes that people learn best in a relaxed and informal environment. By encouraging delegates to participate fully and have fun, Andrew engages participants in a very positive way.

This led him to conclude some seriously complex and sizeable leasing deals in the highly-competitive UK fleet vehicle marketplace. Richard progressed into more senior roles, developing sales strategies and reporting to board level. A key factor in his success has been the acquisition of the skills and experience needed to recruit and develop effective sales teams. More recently Richard has provided advisory services relating to end-of-lease vehicle remarketing, with an increasing slant towards online remarketing.

Anita qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and worked in the legal profession for many years before becoming Managing Director of an organisation and people development consultancy.

Anita is an accomplished leader, trainer and coach with experience of development and implementation of strategy, policy and organisational & cultural change at board level.

As a longstanding member of the legal profession, Anita has an extensive knowledge of the judicial system. She has experience in dealing with criminal & safeguarding investigations, she has adjudicated on cases and she has chaired independent committees. On the HR side, Anita has handled performance, safeguarding and disciplinary issues. Anita has acted in an advisory capacity on compliance, legislation and governance structures.

Anita is well-used to promoting continuous improvement, growth and performance in highly-dynamic environments. She has solid experience in recruitment, succession planning and talent management not to mention coaching for leadership, performance & personal development. Her ability to enthuse, challenge and deliver results has proved invaluable as has her positive, collaborative approach; her wealth of knowledge and her well-grounded, practical experience.

Sue Groves is a highly-skilled trainer, facilitator and coach with an active role across the West Midlands Region and over 30 years’ local government experience.

She has developed and implemented a variety of ILM-accredited leadership programmes ranging from pre-management programmes to senior leadership development programmes.

Sue has extensive experience in the development and implementation of corporate learning & development interventions. She also has comprehensive experience in the implementation of organisation-wide eLearning and the design of blended solutions and Learning Management Systems.

Sue’s wide experience is underpinned by an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, Level A & B in psychometric testing and a Certificate in Education.

Diane is Always Consult’s key associate “north of the border”. Based in Fife, she is ideally placed to assist our Scots clients.

Diane has extensive experience in facilitating the development of individuals and groups at all organisational levels in the public and private sectors, drawing on a strong background of 20 years’ experience in industry. Her expertise includes training, assessing, coaching, diagnosis, design and delivery.

Diane is experienced and qualified in numerous tools, including OPQ, MBTI Step 1, MBTI Step II, 16PF, FIRO-B and ability testing. She is also a qualified Observer on MBTI training courses, observing, assessing and providing feedback to trainee MBTI practitioners.

Diane’s approach is consistently geared around the needs of the client. She uses her relationship building skills to build trust and dialogue with clients and colleagues, allowing her to draw on her analytical skills and extensive experience of different sectors and organisational levels, to generate imaginative, realistic, cost effective solutions, clearly linked to business objectives and providing added value.

Michael’s role is to help Always Consult’s back office to run as smoothly as possible, and to ensure that the company uses technology to its best advantage, translating business needs into practical and cost-effective technical solutions. Although he specialises in data analysis, data migration, databases and web application development, he has worked in a wide variety of roles, from teaching English to company directors in Barcelona, to developing Eyeontheplace, a specialist digital CCTV application.
