Running your business can be like the weather

Being self-employed and managing your own busness can be as unpredicable as the great British weather!

This is the view from my “office” window this morning at 6.35am- on 23rd March.

This time last year we were basking on the beach and enjoying great weather.

Many of our clients talk about similar occurrences in their business. “This time last year business was good and now we have empty diaries”.  Now is the time to take stock, reflect and review. It’s coming up to the end of the first quarter. Where are you against your New Year business and personal objectives? Are you on track? What lessons are being learned and what needs changing?

I know it’s a cliche, but you will always get what you have always got if you continue to do the same as and don’t change.

Seek advice and form a Mastermind Group, it can be as simple as you want it to be. A couple of hours with a drink on a Friday evening after work with four to six like minded business people. Discuss with others what went well and what didn’t go so well with the week. Keep it simple! Learn, seek advice by listening to others and then move forward with simple actions and changes.

Our next Boost the Business  event in April will be  “Looking into the Crystal ball”  What do you need to do now and  in the future to achieve your goals and vision.   (contact us via our contacts page on the web site).
