Why We Love Always Consult – Testimonials
I would totally recommend Always Consult!
I’ve completed my Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development in between full-time work and a busy home life. This course has been manageable and has been delivered in a way I could understand. The programme was SO much more organised than previous qualifications I’ve undertaken with other providers. Adrian Pitt, my tutor, has been amazing and has sparked my passion again for personal development. Thank you, Ade!

We have used Always Consult for some significant training in the Skills Service area of Telford and Wrekin Council over the last few years. In the current climate of budget cuts it is important that any training delivers what is expected for both the finance and time that is invested. We have found the team of trainers at Always Consult to be knowledgeable and skilled in their training delivery. They have helped us to focus on what we need to achieve and have delivered agreed outcomes in a professional and fun way that has engaged our staff and inspired them. We have been particularly pleased with their approach in helping all our staff achieve their level 6 in Advice and Guidance, fitting in with the delivery requirements of our service and the changing status of IAG qualifications. Their style and passion come through in their sessions and liven up any away day.

I’ve been to a number of Always Consult’s “Boost the Business” sessions. I really appreciate the informative sessions, which are also friendly and informal. The other advantage is the opportunity to connect with other people in a similar situation – starting a business and the early days of trading. Networking is so important and I have made new friends from this. Carol’s partners, Sheila and Adrian, also make “Boost the Business” workshops unmissable! Thank you to you all. Congratulations for creating such a unique service!

Carol, just a quick word of thanks for an excellent session today. As you may have appreciated, I entered a new world and am looking forward to exploring it with Adrian, whom I have e-mailed. Please convey my thanks to your colleagues who I did not have a chance to say goodbye to in the rush to get out! I’m looking forward to hearing from you very shortly re the next session.

I attended Adrian’s half-day training session on Effective Social Media. It was an accessible, friendly and well-paced introduction to the topic for newbie business owners getting to grips with social media as part of a cohesive marketing strategy. Adrian’s delivery was clear, funny and memorable. His session was planned and pitched well considering the differing levels of knowledge within the group and ably supported with relevant visuals. His management of the group, getting the balance right between encouraging cross table discussion and delivering content, was just right. AND we finished on time! Sending the promised slides so promptly after our meeting was the icing on the cake. Thank you, Adrian

What can I say about Always Consult? Without their support, I know I’d be back working for another company and not have the strength to have gone on my own. Always Consult is a team of skilled and knowledgeable individuals, who always put things in the right context. What they deliver is easy to follow and understand. Thank you for all your help.
Shane worked at Uniq Ltd in Minsterley, Shropshire. With the threat of redundancy looming, he decided to venture into self-employment, with the support of Always Consult Ltd. Shane is now running the very successful Minsterley Decorators.
I want to thank the team at Always Consult for running your very successful sessions for the Level 5 Learning Mentor Diploma. The induction session was very lively and interactive. Thank you for keeping us posted afterwards with all the hand-outs.” She continued: “You gave an excellent introduction to the contents of the course and reassured our Learning Mentors about the requirements of the programme. I enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the session because I could see that our Learning Mentors were enjoying it and found it informative. Your second session was equally as good as the first! It was encouraging to find out that so many Learning Mentors had started their first assignment and that some had already completed. Thank you for staying so late to talk to the Mentors one-to-one. I spoke to a member of staff afterwards and she said that she was really enjoying the course. She’d made a good start on her assignment, felt well-supported by her tutor and was pleased that she had enrolled on the course. I’ve spoken to another Learning Mentor since and she confirmed that she’d already recommended your course to other members of staff! Thank you again for motivating our Learning Mentors to work on their projects and to complete the course.
Christine is the Quality Assurance 14 – 19 Advisor in the Children and Young People Directorate for Coventry City Council. Always Consult worked with her and a team of Learning Mentors from across the City supporting their Continuing Professional Development.
Geraldine Millington owns Good Sense Stationery. She’s worked with Carol Ewels and Always Consult Ltd. on a number of occasions. Geraldine provides this glowing Testimonial:
I have been coached by Carol several times over the last few months on a number of different business incentive programmes. In that time she has taught me how to overcome any business worries I had for my new stationery company i.e. costs, aims and objectives, market research, sales forecasts, business plans, grants available, HR policies, tax and NI, accounting, networking and websites. I have also liaised with many of Always Consult’s clients and they speak highly of Carol. Without exception they have said that Carol is an absolute pleasure to work with due to her attention to detail and her ability to crystallise ideas. Carol is concise, while being open to suggestions, imaginative yet focused.
The way Carol and her Associates get groups to interact with each other keeps the meetings lively fun and motivational. They’re excellent at providing inspiration in either a group or one to one setting. Together, the team has an abundance of life experiences, having worked in a range of industries. They now use all that knowledge and expertise to help others succeed in their business. If your business needs direction, then Always Consult is the company to call!.

Always Consult Ltd Senior Associate, Adrian Pitt, was recently asked to deliver a session on Social Media marketing to the Wem Business Forum. Jacinta Walmsley, partner at Hatcher’s Solicitors, summed the programme up in a nutshell! She said:

Captain D R Rawling completed a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development. Here is what he had to say about Always Consult:
From registration to certification – superb! I have nothing but praise for the team at Always Consult.
The Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development was professionally delivered and tailored to my individual requirements. Throughout, I was under the stewardship of an experienced, knowledgeable and extremely credible assessor. It took me a little under nine months to complete and was backed up with continuous advice, guidance and support.
Specifically, Ade Pitt was my Adviser and Assessor. This is a chap that thoroughly enjoys his work and this becomes evident as soon as you meet him. Ade is diligent, enthusiastic and highly motivational throughout the programme. Nothing is too much trouble for Ade; he went out of his way to help me, including e mail support where his responses are detailed and with immediacy. Ade was superb – supporting my ‘virtual’ programme with timely and constructive feedback, a flexible approach to learning and constant encouragement. I was extremely impressed!
Dai Warren came along to a Social Media bite size workshop on 16th May 2016 and had this to say:
A very big thank you for Monday’s training session on social media with Adrian – an excellent afternoon! The session was very relaxed and informal, but we still covered a lot of ground – on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Adrian’s level of knowledge and enthusiasm for his subject were such that he could comfortably answer our queries as we went along, before returning to his main theme, all the while keeping us not just interested, but engrossed!
Advice on LinkedIn was particularly relevant and helpful as I am just starting to use that platform for job hunting; I have amended my profile significantly since returning home, directly in line with Adrian’s suggestions, and have had a busy evening trawling through some of the job alerts that have now started to come in. Very significant progress!
Thank you again, Dai Warren BA FCCA
